Need a few minutes calm amid the mayhem of Christmas? Give thanks for all the blessings of the year? Spare a prayer for those in such great need both at home and abroad……….?

Lots of reasons for us to share in the celebration of the Mass on St. Stephen’s day, boxing day. This year, additionally, we present our new altar servers with their medals of the Guild of St. Stephen, the patron saint of altar servers.

Mass will be at 11-00am (Not the usual Tuesday 7-00pm) and will be celebrated for the intentions of the Ronan and Ravenhill families.

(St. Stephen: spoke out fearlessly and eloquently for the truth and became the first Christian Martyr. St. Paul is thought to have heard Stephen’s oratory and witnessed his martyrdom. St. Stephen was of such integrity that he was chosen as one of the seven deacons trusted to distribute alms to the poor in the earliest days of Christianity.  He is most often remembered in the carol “Good King Wenceslas”. )

Hope you’re having a lovely Christmas.
